“A lie told often enough becomes the truth.”
Lenin, Russian Communist politician & revolutionary (1870 – 1924)

Like them or hate them – you have to admit that there is an effort being made to demonize the Tea Party movement as racists, gun toting thugs, and right wing militia fringe.

I have been to two rallies in Washington DC with the Tea Party and 9-12 movements. September 12, 2009 and March 20, 2010. In my personal observation of the Tea Party:

MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan Goes Nuts

In America, funny, Olbermann Watch, Tea Party on March 4, 2010 at 6:02 pm

In a recent interview, Dylan Ratigan attacks Tea Party leader, Mark Williams.  Throughout the interview Ratigan insists Williams answer his loaded questions without affording him the opportunity to do so.  Eventually, Ratigan requests Williams mike be shut off (which is odd considering he never had a chance to use it).

MSNBC might want to consider installing defibrillators in the studio if they intend on preserving the current lineup of hosts.  Dylan Ratigan’s recent rant nearly sent him into cardiac arrest.  Dylan, and seldom-watched Olbermann, seem to be crying louder than ever for attention.  Ratigan ought to address the man in the mirror before looking elsewhere.

In the words of Benjamin Franklin:

Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

Keith Olbermann Schooled By Dallas Tea Party

In America, Olbermann Watch, Tea Party on February 22, 2010 at 9:48 pm

(I first saw this video on Atlas Shrugs) In the video Olbermann questions: Where are they? Where are the Blacks, the Hispanics? Where are the minorities? Olbermann goes on to call out the Tea Party movement for surrounding themselves with only whites. Has Keith actually been to a Tea Party rally? He might want to consider accepting the Dallas invitation before continuing on his factually absent rants.  Good work Keith. (Oh, one last question for ya Keith: how many minorities are you surrounded by at MSNBC?)

James O’Keefe’s Statement Released

In Congress, Corruption, freedom, Government Lies, Health Care, Integrity, US Senate on January 29, 2010 at 12:09 pm

“I learned from a number of sources that many of Senator Landrieu’s constituents were having trouble getting through to her office to tell her that they didn’t want her taking millions of federal dollars in exchange for her vote on the healthcare bill. When asked about this, Senator Landrieu’s explanation was that, “Our lines have been jammed for weeks.” I decided to investigate why a representative of the people would be out of touch with her constituents for “weeks” because her phones were broken. In investigating this matter, we decided to visit Senator Landrieu’s district office – the people’s office – to ask the staff if their phones were working.

On reflection, I could have used a different approach to this investigation, particularly given the sensitivities that people understandably have about security in a federal building. The sole intent of our investigation was to determine whether or not Senator Landrieu was purposely trying to avoid constituents who were calling to register their views to her as their Senator. We video taped the entire visit, the government has those tapes, and I’m eager for them to be released because they refute the false claims being repeated by much of the mainstream media.”

It seems O’Keefe was trying to get to the bottom of the “jammed phones” mystery (in “the people’s office”). This project did not involve illegal wire taps (sorry Keith Olbermann and MSNBC) it was, much like the revealing ACORN project, a search for truth. Of course the liberal-left want this kid locked up, why wouldn’t they? I hope he is back at it soon. Good work James.
